Damn bots caught me on a rare but shameful error on my part. You all know I'm normally above that shit. https://twitter.com/_grammar_/status/1005268243622318080 …
I'll never say that what we (or anyone) creates belongs to anyone other than the people who created and enabled it, but I say that in total confidence that what exists in the space between you and HLH defines itself - as a product of that collaboration of spirit.
…as a single collective entity are going to justify every ounce of excitement, patience and support you guys have poured into us.
In regards to the songs that fell off along the way, some were very personal and it was damned hard letting them go. I'd love to explore a way of sharing them one day. But I know that we have some of the most appreciative and open-minded fans in the world and these new songs…
End of the day this album is what it is. We are who we are. And those two things are inseparable. But it's insane to really think about what it means. I'm not sure I'll ever figure it out. Time to ride the vibe and see where it goes.
Now that we're working on videos and getting ready to pack up and head home, I'm realising how much of a curve ball this album has thrown me in who I am and where my life is headed. Part of the adventure is always the unknown but fuck it scares me.

from perception of myself as a writer, and dig in to what that means to our fans, our potential audience, and to our identity as a collective creative outlet.

The process of making this record has been a fast-moving, rapidly-shifting, instinct-reliant, self-aware beast of a journey. We did pre-pro at my studio in March and left with an album's worth of songs...
We've been sharing a lot of excitement about the new record - and justifiably so, it's gonna be huge - but real talk for a minute.
The album is done but the work doesn't stop - I'm taking bookings for co-writing, preproduction and mixing July-September. Got ideas you need to turn into songs? Need to inject some experience and polish into your music, to step it up and to make somethi… https://ift.tt/2kS4tWm
Made a friend. This is Troy. He likes treats. Perhaps too much. You have to chase him around with a gas mask and knock him out when his toenails need clipping. His girlfriend is blind and deaf. Probably why he gets away with letting himself go a bit arou… https://ift.tt/2J97KPL
I've traded in the laptop for some vintage analog equipment for this record. Backspace key is a little slow and there's no redo shortcut but the auto save functionality is handy. Gotta be careful when I put anything in the trash, it gets emptied daily an… https://ift.tt/2LctlTW
I've been married to my best friend for almost two months now :) we haven't been able to share our full album of wedding photos yet (but for good reason... stay tuned) but I'm still so immensely proud of not just the day itself but the relationship it re… https://ift.tt/2H8JM1d
